Giant spices
Spacecadets have been busy creating these massive interactive Spices for the Full of Spice Festival at Kew Gardens. Do you love the aroma of garlic? Go wild for the scent of nutmeg? The perfumes of spices are so comforting and evocative that sometimes you just want to get inside them don’t you? Well, now you can! This summer sees innovative and massive inflatable spices on display at Kew Gardens. Look around inside a gigantic stem of ginger and get up-close-and-personal with a monstrous 14 metre chilli!
Our colossal spices, including garlic, chilli, ginger and nutmeg, are awe-inspiring, enormous, and they smell real! Head holes at a variety of heights allow people of all ages to explore the spicy interiors while their exterior skins are host to an array of fascinating and spicy facts. It’s a sensory extravaganza for children and adults alike, and you’ll never look at a spice rack in quite the same way again.
