Airbath – Liverpool biennial
Commissioned by Liverpool Biennial
Our brief was to find a location in the city and create an installation. We found a very very dark damp atmospheric space – Dingle Underground Reservoir in Toxteth. We created 7 inflatable hanging pods, which slowly breathed. Projected onto the pods were images of flying angel like figures. We ran workshops with Liverpool community college teaching making skills and survival skills for a working artist, explaining how to plan and manage a commission.
